A heart like Jesus is what I want
To be a loving and kind faithful servant
No other can see inside the heart of a man
Except our all knowing Jesus can
 
I can only pray the day will come
When others will know what my Jesus has done
I strive each day to be more like Him
Showing love and compassion from deep within
 
I try not to remember the days of old
But I am working on my testimony to be told
You see my Jesus is my everything
He renewed my mind to deliver me from sin
 
My life is no longer about me
It's about my Savior that set me free
Each day I only long to please thee
Applying his word to my life brings victory
 
I exalt you My Precious Lord
Daily I'm consumed by your word
No other book can feed my soul
Your living water has made me whole
 
The nearer I draw to you I see
The nearer you are drawing to me
You are my life and always will be
More precious than gold or fine rubies
 
Oh how I love to give you praise
Your love is unconditional thru-out my days
So many hearts are hurting today
Because they refuse to let you guide their way
