Answers In The Sky
Late at night,
When all but me, find tranquil sleep,
I search dark endless skies,
To see your face,
I try to find a reason to believe,
That in the end, my love,
You did not leave,
I can't move on,
Without you by my side,
At times,
You seem so very far away,
And yet, in still of night,
I hold you near,
I have no doubts, my love,
I have no fear,
For you and I will dance upon the wind,
We'll find a distant star,
To rest upon,
We'll tiptoe softly on a passing cloud,
And see with clarity,
The lies beyond,
And late at night, I'm searching,
For my answers in the sky,
What will become, my love,
Of you and I ?
