Reflections of My Perceptions

more misery

wasting

Too many days spent chasing an elusive love which insists upon escaping

Vacant

A house of cards, no true foundation, based only upon the hollow husk of lustful lovemaking

Breaking

Waves of thoughts cascading, dashing my hopes, washing away my patience

Naked

Unable to hide from the harsh winds which remain billowing, and I always seem to be facing

Aching

My heart, and the reality of my situation which only seems to let more pain in

Gaping

Holes within my soul as a result of what hurt and loneliness have taken

Raining

Tears of despair from my eyes which have found love as a reason for hating

Ancient

It seems like an eternity since I last enjoyed sweet love, how I miss tasting

Mistaken

Have I been since that time, for all along I now realize I was faking
