Betrayed in love one time too many
Roger much prefered to avoid any
 
Romantic involvement in his near future
So he became sort of a reclused creature
 
He wandered about like a complete stranger
The dark night for him presented no danger
 
His heart was broken by his last lover
Her wicked deeds too late he did discover
 
But although his brave courage had faltered
Love was smoltering inside totally covered
 
One night he sat alone in the dark
Under a hugh tree in a secluded park

The night was so hot he took off his shirt
In the refreshing air he became very alert
 
Suddenly he heard a faint voice weeping
He became so curious he went peeping
 
A sweet young girl sat there alone
From her lips he heard a small groan
 
At once Roger's emotions came to the rescue
He rushed to her side before he knew
 
Side by side they talked all night
Until they saw the sun's bright light
 
As they strolled home hand in hand
He smiled to himself making all kinds of plans
 
He remembered the times that he'd cried
With this new love once more he would try  
 
You see, love never really dies in our hearts
It just takes a small miracle to awaken a new start
