Sleepless in Iowa~~~LOL
Sometimes when your "Sleepless"
all you can get is "nonsense"~~~
Here is tonight's offering~~~
Sleepless in Iowa
So much for sleeping in the wee small~~~
3 o'clock, and I'm just staring at the wall~~~~
worry might be the reason for this loss~~~
what're it is will, in the morning, make me cross.
Lonely nights make for long and lonely days~~~
'tis dreams of distant times and far off places that I crave~~~
yet there is nothing I have learned:
except this one 'great truth'~~~~
Forever gone,~~~
ne'er to return,~~~
those fond memories of youth.
