The far off planets
Of Venus and Mars
Are clearly seen
With the common eye
Connection of brilliant stars
An array of constellations astound
Realities of today without
Resolutions of tomorrow abound.
Remember the past as history
It's course can never be amended
We ponder the meaning of this journey
In a distant world of wisdoms blended
Light years away, beyond insanity
Somewhere up in the heavens
The possibilities remain uncanny
And occur in multiples of sevens.
What if, could of, should have, maybe
Setting new sights to go after
We can't retrace our steps - to see
The moon's light echoes of laughter
A star shoots the limitless skies
Wandering empty streets in the dark
The sun blinds uncovered eyes
With a captivating inner spark.
The shutter wide open
Lens free of dusty speck
The camera is steadied
And exposure, now set
An everlasting image not forsaken
The heart of Angel eyes unbent.
A picture perfect is taken
Of Dream catcher, Heaven sent
Vastness of colors in Fall
The coldest of Winter's thaw
Spring's tears are stopped
In the midst of a Summer hot
Time passes thru wit and charm
Healing deep wounds
New seeds have been planted
As the cycle resumes
The natural beauty of a budding rose
With the freedom to choose her own race
She spreads her petals in pastel prose
When allowed to grow at her own pace
Tender touches the heart surreal
Can't explain nor deter time and space
Open the blinds on the windows and feel
She's as soft and delicate as satin and lace.
Warmth and passion, as seen thru her eyes
Genuine, honest, simply complex
A vision of beauty, and of wholesome heart
Sensual intimacies, gently perplex
When Nature itself provides
Pure tears of heart felt showers
The sprouting green stems come alive
Creating resilient flowers.
Astonished with the inner strength
When left unscathed and all alone
A vibrant butterfly of desire
A new life she has Shown
A heart burning with fire
Bridging the gap over fallen water
A precious life had crossed my path
Thankful and blessed to have momentarily caught her.
