Petals In The Grass
Miracle
Miracle
If I could choose a mirace
I wonder what I would pick
Would I try to eliminate disease?
Cure the ailing, and sick
I could always change my childhood
So I could ponder some happy thoughts
Maybe cure my depression
And not be so distraught
Be a famous poet
Be known across the land
Touch people with words
Come and take my hand
Also could eradicate hatred
Everyone would live in peace
No need for prisons
No military, or police
Possibly find my true love
To help me on my way
I wonder what I would pick
If I could choose a miracle today
If I could choose a mirace
I wonder what I would pick
Would I try to eliminate disease?
Cure the ailing, and sick
I could always change my childhood
So I could ponder some happy thoughts
Maybe cure my depression
And not be so distraught
Be a famous poet
Be known across the land
Touch people with words
Come and take my hand
Also could eradicate hatred
Everyone would live in peace
No need for prisons
No military, or police
Possibly find my true love
To help me on my way
I wonder what I would pick
If I could choose a miracle today
