Remembering the Father
I was pondering a thought,
The way that many sought;
Where had they been going,
And where they are flowing.
They say of a belief in God,
But never to honor or laud;
In continuing my research,
Most never attend church.
I just have to let out a sigh,
It is hard to figure out why;
Only an hour every Sunday,
Placing a trust as you obey.
Then reading of His Word,
Everyday is not too absurd;
A few minutes of your time,
In devotion is not a crime.
Then a few moments to share,
With Your Father in prayer;
Helping get rid of your stress,
Bestow love and He will bless.
