Treading The Deep... 09/19/2000
Wandering down to the warm sand
Feeling the cool cool water
Pieces of shell cut into my feet
No pain, I feel no pain
Walking in deeper and deeper
Salty breezes whip at my face
Serenity in the deep
Slowly letting the water envelope
The water is warm now, so warm
No struggle for air,
No fight for life
You keep the words
I need them no more....
