My kitty Ginger is quite smart,
She ignores you and never takes part.
Her desire in life to remain mundane,
Has so far been successful, it's plain.
She knows some tricks, yes she does,
She's very fast, so fast they are fuzz.
Truth is, she never moves,
Except to potty or beg for food.
She's quite content to lay on a rug,
And rolls it up as snug as a bug.
We call her name and she just looks,
Yep, she know us just like a book.
She's quite unconcerned as to our presence,
Ignores us completely even when we're pleasant.
We love her though, just the same,
She is still Ginger, and Kitty Kapers her game.
She does like for you to rub her tummy,
And give her treats that are quite yummy.
She'll even rollover and over for you,
Her number one trick, YIP TE DO ! !
Yes she stays quite busy lazing around,
But, she will jump at a sudden sound.
She's a cat, what do you expect?
She's her own boss, oh what the HECK ! ! !
