Reflections of My Perceptions

anything

a willingness to conform as well as to experiment
to be able to induce both lament and merriment
justifying one's verdict with neither guilt nor innocence
finding ways to bury sense within nonsense
to recognize one's weaknesses not to mention one's strengths
making words that bedevil also seem heaven sent
finding methods of conveying not only love's scent,
but also to wallow and indulge in loneliness' stench
to express one's impatience yet show penitence
somehow to make nothing become someone's everything
a poet must manage to accomplish many things
thus to do so a poet must be willing to do anything
