Secure Faith
Oh ye with no confidence,
Building your little fence;
Thinking safe and secure,
From any enticing lure.
Like an ostrich you stand,
Your head stuck in the sand;
For hearing it in a speech,
That keeps you out of reach.
Like a turtle in his shell,
You once had heard it tell;
Keeping your head inside,
Will naturally save your hide.
Like an opossum instead,
Maybe best just to play dead;
Then temptation will pass,
Rather than trying to harass.
Little faith makes you weak,
Wandering mind as you seek;
Faith in Christ is one to be true,
Blocks seduction far from you.
