Lazy Times
It is easy to become lazy,
Your mind gets a bit hazy;
All motivation flies away,
Lounging around all day.
Feeling like nothing to do,
Your attitude has no virtue;
Self-centeredness is best,
No desire to take on a quest.
Little do you understand,
Giving Satan the upper hand;
It just unlocks a back door,
To temptation and his lure.
He can cause a blazing fire,
Of some deep down desire;
That is hidden in the dark,
And how to ignite a spark.
But for me I will stay busy,
Enough to make some dizzy;
I devote my life to the Lord,
For in my heart He is adored.
