The Mistress of Word Play

The moon was high above the trees,
there blew across a gentle breeze,
and rain it fell like tears.
So beautiful like new fallen snow,
Most precious sight e'er to know,
eraser of my deepest fears.
A canvas stretched from here to there,
star shine piercing rain clad air,
and a memory it starts to flower.
I walk the rain soaked barren street,
and recall a memory ah so sweet,
a secret place, that special hour.
