Would you like me
to make you a sandwich?
turkey with just Grey Poupon
mayo and lettuce, your favorite,
on baguette, olives on the side,
super crunchy light salt kettle chips,
ice cold beer,
I can heat some soup? make
you chicken noodle from scratch,
with diced celery, carrots, potatoes,
what ever you need, just relax, grab
a pillow, kick your feet up, here's
your favorite quilt, you want me
to put a movie in?
I light a candle,
pop some popcorn? make you
hot tea with brandy lemon honey,
you want Scooby Doo cheddar crackers?
finally a smile
as she cozies up on
the couch.
