Did you ever think
about where you are
standing at this moment
What may have happened
in this exact place?
Through the centuries
beginning to now
what event
may have occured
right here?
Maybe, a caveman
grabbed his love
by the head of the hair
dragging her into
his makeshift cave
Dinosaurs of all sizes
shapes, fight for their
territory, to survive
Eating what can be found
A wonderland, waterfalls
Lush pine trees
Deer and elk
little animal families
Dead for land greed
Horses hooves pounding
the ground
as cowboys and indians
meet head-on
fighting for land
Stagecoaches rolling
into a dusty town
where 2 gunman draw
guns over a womans love
bread and butter, homemade
Every place has a story
As time marches on
People taking over the land
Tearing down natures homes
Habitat lost
Many years forward
But what really happened
in the exact place
you lay your head
at night?
A birth
A death
Lovers nest
Killers lust
Childrens laughter echo
Screams from a scene
of horror
Living, Dying
Laughing, Crying
Do you ever wonder?
What happened
right here or over there
in another time?
Every place has a story
