Possessed houses.

Walking passed castles of isolation
Adjoined by walls of indifference
Luxury from borrowed interest
Protected by a default insurance.

A perception of life is secured
Sound flows through an open window
Secretive eyes flirt with the light
As a morbid sense of curiosity grows.

Footsteps have awakened a home defence
Glorifying a faith in possession
Possessed by status above all
Sacrificing grace for materialism.

Cells line the streets of dreams
Boxes that imprison the mind
Doors instinctively opened to leave
Closed in confidence of a faith, blind.
