Among the spring flowers I will go,
and watch the daffodils as they grow.
Around the corner of my home,
I take the time and endlessly roam.
I see the tulips as they appear,
it surely means that spring is near.
A passing fancy a wishful thought.
Perhaps it is spring and maybe not?
A flash of color here and there,
seems some warmth is in the air.
I see a robin in the cherry tree,
here's a crocus and a honeybee.
I love the springtime and summer too,
just hoping winter is almost through.
Around me I see new life emerging,
I feel it coming springtime is surging.
And I am content to wander on,
I just hope that winter's gone.
