Deny Me Not

Deny me not this chance I may take
To have love and happiness putting else to stake
I shall not dig deep merely only rake
The surface to all in which shall erupt this lake

Time needs to be given among those less able
Allowing strength again so they can become stable
Throw down faith as a solid cable
And allow again the love to reflect off that shining table

Love amongst ourselves can be wrought
However looking for it never works it must be caught
It happens when least expected, this I've been taught
It sometimes stares you in the face like an ink blot

Deny me not this chance to take
My life in my hands with whatever mistakes
Allowing love to shine through that storm that quakes
And leaving purity in which I can partake
