Sleep
Sleep is not the question,
Sleep is not the answer,
Tired, but wide awake,
It eats me like a cancer.
I don't want to sleep,
'Cause I don't want to wake,
Livin' my life,
It's just too much to take.
(Chorus)
Sleep just means another day,
I hate my life anyway,
Waking to torture, waking to hell
Everything makes me want to yell.
"Why?", I ask in all my prayers,
Falling forever down endless stairs,
If suicide's the answer,
Why aren't i dead?,
But instead...
I'm lying in bed...
Waiting for tomorrow to come.
(Chorus)
Sleep just means another day,
I hate my life anyway,
Waking to torture, waking to hell,
Everything makes me want to yell.
