Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
In the heat of the moment, I lose my mind
Drive me crazy with your lack of calls.
I wither when your voice is not in my ears.
When you go away, worry floods my mind,
And when you return, I could almost cry.
In the late night, the thought of you burns a
Wild fire in my soul; it makes me
Crave dancing in the pouring rain.
To me, you are rain after a long drought.
To me, you are the water to my dying lawn.
You remind me of times I forgot to live,
Forgot to breathe, forgot to function.
You remind me of times I was neglectful
Of myself, when fresh cuts adorned my
Arms, as though I battled it out with
Someone, when I've only been battling with
Myself. You make me want to erase it all.
You offer me the luxury of comfort and
I take it, a bit too greedily, too hungrily.
How can I feel you when you are not around?
How can I love you so much, and you
Remain so oblivious? How much I suffer…
But for you, I would die.
