MOVED TO HIM

He holds my hand when we walk
He tries to love my dogs too
He holds me close at night when we talk
He tries to get me over you

He moved in my house right away
All I had to do was ask
He's here for the concerns of my day
Even though, it's quite a task

His skin is here in my night
For me to reach out to
His voice does start to be right
While you were always untrue

There's a bed that we share
Where he's sleeping as I write poetry
He says that he does care
While you cared more for you and Marie

In these few weeks,
I have moved to him
My love he seeks
Helps me forget about them

He is my man
He tells me so
He seems to understand
The thing to do is stay not go...

No matter what
We work it out
He can be taught
That I will pout

If I ran away,
He's there when I come back
He's there today
To fill up what you lack

You lost so much
Can't even cry
He has my touch
He is my guy

So as you are sleeping
There by yourself
My love he's keeping
A greater wealth

He met my son
my new grand baby
He is my sun
It's just not maybe

He shines down on me
It warms my skin
He doesn't want me free
For other men

He is my guy
Through thick and thin
With his love, I can fly
Since he moved right on in...
