Merry Christmas from the Spirit

A friend of mine asked me once why I never wrote anything about Christmas, my reply to her was the piece you see below. I hope you enjoy it. Susan

Merry Christmas from the spirit,
who walks the halls and corridors.
A jolly soul who frosts the windows,
and sweeps snow beneath the doors.

Love and peace fill your yuletide,
let your heart merry make.
Fill your cups with Christmas spirit,
and of this offering please partake.

Merry Christmas from the spirit,
who fills our lives with blessed cheer.
Drape the holly across the mantle.
Can't you feel it, Christmas is here?

Pile the logs upon the fire,
sing those songs we all know.
Feel the wonder as it consumes us,
let that feeling soar and grow.
