DRESSED UP FOR NOTHING

Have these turquoise fishnet stockings on
For him to view tommorrow morning
He will be gone
His midnight warning

He called in sick and won't call me
Like he's supposed to do
He called staffing instead
Afraid I'll put him through

A world of hell
For wanting a day off
Well, I won't tell
If you don't have a cough

What's wrong with you
Are you afraid
That I am blue
While you are laid

Perhaps by her there
Your paper bag woman
Well, I cannot care
If you're coming

You made it clear to me
That she will always be your first
You made it clear to be free
You have to live with the worst

The unpretty
The one who doesn't care
The nitty gritty
Well, stay there!
