LiftedIn this small word, I see life… More abundantly than on Earth- Centered upon one miraculous birth. Mary lifted and held our Saviour, Jesus. This word invites my eyes to look up Knowing My merciful Lord is looking D O W N From the Heavens in His glory crown. Our Lord of Life was the One who L I F T E D me when I was trapped in darkness and couldn't set myself free. I cried He answered. My tears He dried… And emptied my heart of pride. My Saviour lifted me up. I smiled…He did too. A new song is sung As I lift my voice to rejoice In His Salvation. Psalm 118:14 The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
