(I made a new friend in Germany and she inspired me to write this.)
A Friend to the End (Dedicated to Sara Nosrati)
After so many stares
From people who didn't care
Do I ever dare
Give my smile to share
Then all it took was a smile
And a look from your eyes
To make me realize
The person you are inside
I saw a caring heart
And I knew this was the start
You'd be a special part
Even though many miles apart
A friend to the end
My hellos I do send
A friend to the end
A hand I will extend
A friend to the end
I will always defend
A friend to the end
Helping hand I will lend
A simple little hello
And a friendship that grows
I see a rainbow
Who would have ever known
That all it took was a smile
And a look from your eyes
To make me realize
The person deep inside
And now that I know you
A friendship brand new
Whenever you're feeling blue
I will be there for you
A friend to the end
My hellos I do send
A friend to the end
A hand I will extend
A friend to the end
I will always defend
A friend to the end
Helping hand I will lend
In a world with so much hate
There's so much to celebrate
You were worth the wait
To you this I dedicate
