In the early morning
I know that you're gone
And not coming back
That you're really gone
A frosty day greets me
Empty arms reach me
The angels took you above
And not longer have your love
Cold and still you laid there
My heart broke with despair
Very cold you laid there still
And of pain my soul had its fill
