 I KNOW WHO YOU ARE

Upload music at Bolt

Often surpassed with fables and such,
you became lost, confused by commanded needs,
Tis not your fault, the learning they taught,
for I too followed into disfunctioned footsteps.

You've been haunted for too long,
for as far back as my memory can go,
with your treacherous, unintentional ways,
shadowing yourself into a forsaken world.

My sanity is stronger than you'll ever be,
though in denial, you know this to be true.
For I have been on your side, and by your side,
observed it all, and decided to never let go!

We are at our peak, not children at play,
the soccer ball is no longer at the playground,
so kick off your stride with much more pride,
and fear not the past, nor what the future may bear.

Make today and tomorrow about the children,
don't allow selfishness put a stop sign in your path,
instead, yield and go forth, swallow some of that pride,
and be the person you are with much more stride.

Expressions I give are sincere and bold,
for you need an awakening to what's been told.
No one, and nothing else can replace me by far,
for I am the one who knows who you are!

You need not flee to set yourself free,
pardon yourself, break some branches off the tree,
for as long as you can see you own reflection,
you will always be able to reveal who you truly are!

Your goals are like an open road,
which can lead you to a place we all belong,
leave the darkness behind, focus on sunshine, and
let us sing and dance to the forecast that's up ahead!

Waking up to reality,
can get rid of brutality!
