Application (Dear God)
If but I knew what you require,
upon this form which I hold,
perhaps you would aquire,
the things you long to know.
My life I've lived as best I could,
though at times I pause and wonder,
if I could change somethings I would,
perhaps a few, maybe one blunder.
You know those things which I feel,
which direction my heart lies in.
You know the falsehoods and what is real,
perhaps one day I can pass within.
Though times were hard you picked me up,
and made me try again.
When I was thirsty you filled my cup,
you know my every sin.
Pray please read this let there be no mistake,
and understand I long to be,
beyond the madness for my own sake,
and dwell my Lord with thee.
