My Biggest Obstacle

My Biggest Obstacle

Crippled by the call into complete decay
an everlasting lost can leave a bitter taste
I know she looks at me
and thinks what a waste
but I try not to care
but the truth is I still do

and I can't run fast enough to get you out of my day
I can't avoid you cuz you always find a way
it's that judgemental voice that is making noise
you are just a bully
who destroys the toys
and kills any courage
I hate you with a passion
although I know that is not Christ like

A minute's thick enough to last a long, long while
frozen into place, one million hateful smiles
so many emotions you evoke
all my feelings running wild
for love I guess I would tolerate anything
but being constantly burnt
takes a toll, I feel the weights
someone get me out of the ball and chain

and I can't run fast enough to get you out of my day
I can't avoid you cuz you always find a way
it's that judgemental voice that is making noise
you are just a bully
who destroys the toys
and kills any courage
I hate you with a passion
although I know that is not Christ like
