The prince had heard there was a witch who knew,
how he might free his Queen the one he loved so true.
The witch it was told lived in a forest primeval,
and the legend it said that her heart was pure evil.
Yet the young gallant prince with his sword by his side,
swore an oath he would free her before next eventide.
He reined his black charger and away they did ride,
in search of the witch, who could help free his bride.
Down the long and winding road he did seek,
and he found the old witch at the side of a creek.
With sword drawn he approached her, trying to take care,
and the witch she did nothing but give him a stare.
He was from the Land of Light,
he built up his courage and focused his might,
and confronted the witch, he was ready to fight.
