As the Vets line up at the V.A. Hospital
and out-patient treatment Centers,
they are viewed as whiners, losers,
not the wars' winners.
Their government doesn't show them any respect,
and many wonder why they have become
drunkards and some even fiends addicted To dope.
It's because they have been lied to and neglected
By their own government and have become filled with
Despair and void of all hope.
Spilling over into Laos and across the Cambodian border,
they were given their last and final military order,
Hold that hill, at any and all cost,
Follow that order.
Now over four decades later they suffer from
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
