Heart Of The Matter
Where Wild Heather Blooms
The early evening sunlight,
Floods its rays into my rooms,
I have coffee, on my balcony,
Where purple heather blooms,
And as early autumn colour,
Settles gently on the trees,
I listen to the silence,
Whisper love upon the breeze,
I sit upon my balcony,
Bright sunshine fills my rooms,
Alone, no one to find me here,
Where the wild, wild heather blooms.
