Always
As we get
to that point,
our wine leading
us true, taking us
to the point of question,
the point of honesty, liquid
senses, we melt with each other,
forget a little, shoot up moon,
wine nights, philosophical tenderness,
your bare feet on my lap, as we think
of a way out, Miles meets Muddy, we sip
with confidence, rain hard on our tin roof,
the memories play, your heels to me are diamonds,
love is Jasmine climbing, we're home baby,
we get each other through.
