Oh life of life, so many trials,
And an abundance of tears and pain,
Wondering what it's all about,
The heartache and the strain!
The hills we climb, so steep they are,
And the dales that sink so low,
Are mind confusing and head hurting,
Not knowing which way to go.
Knowing the trials you have to face,
And the things that have already been,
You fight to stay on top and focused,
For we have to – to have our dream!
We brush our way through the crowd of life,
And boldly march ahead strong and proud!
Shedding tears of plenty along the way,
Which are very much allowed!
For the trials and tribulations of life,
Are sometimes harsh with much pain,
But you keep on top, find that strength,
For you have everything to gain!
No-one said life was easy,
For we have pain, heartache and strife!
And life of many trials of plenty…
Help to mould us throughout our life.
And sometimes we waiver, and we fall,
As we stumble through the pain,
But always we stay focused and strong,
Until we are strong and well again!
And though we hurt and cry in pain,
It's allowed for we are human you see!
And when you are low, dig down deep!
Find your strength, and happy you'll be!
For to get through the trials and pain,
Oh life of many trials that we bear,
Bear them we do, but we always come through!
Because there is always someone who'll care!
There are angels on our shoulders,
Guiding and leading us throughout our life,
We can't see them, but they are there,
Helping to ease our pain and strife!
So look to your shoulder when you feel low,
And draw on their strength for a while,
Before you know it, there you'll be,
Supported in every harsh step and mile!
Look to your left, look to your right,
Oh life of many trials that we bear,
And always, always know…
There is someone there who will always care.
