Goddess Of Rain's EmbraceThe mystic embrace of misty drops just touches my Grecian face turned upward to catch the pure well of raindrops within my welcoming lips. The Goddess of Rain I become whirling and twirling to the pulse of its moist dew. My head thrown back, arms extended, hair cascading down my back. My black and gold gown soaked through as I call out your name wishing to be in your embrace, to saturate through to your heart. It is as though the rain has bestowed its finest adornment upon this Goddess form. The rain and the wind penetrate, infiltrate my awaiting soul, possess and marry yours. A lavender haze of Hyacinth sends its perfume through the columns of my temple. You and I are swept up in the storm of pulsating passion and overwhelming desire. We are caught between two worlds. Misty drops caressing and embracing this Goddess of Rain and her Rain God. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
