Nature's Tale
I walked along with nature
by a lovely flowing stream:
She told me lots of things about herself.
"I am lovely, pure and kind,
I bring hope and peace of mind:
Sometimes I growl when things go awry.
I am pleasant to the eye,
To folks that pass on by:
I'm a never-ending source to be admired.
I've seen love and I've seen hate,
I've seen those who've tempted fate;
Yet I'm right there to give a helping hand.
I am here to be your guide
and to help you glimpse inside;
At the wonders I so readily inspire.
I'm the source of nature's tale,
To the young or old and frail:
I'm the greatest thrill to their ever roving eyes.
I can shout and I can roar
or bring joy for evermore:
I am nature, full of mysteries galore!"
