Poetic Verses
Broken Trust
I am a bird and I like to fly,
my wing is now broken, I fell from the sky.
It was a trick, not possible to do,
but since I am stupid and I play the fool.
They said, "It's okay, just give it a try"
I didn't take the time to even ask "Why?"
I said "Okay", in them I had trusted,
but after it all my wing is now busted.
If I weren't so gullible and easy to fool,
I wouldn't have broken the flying rule.
I just don't know, my minds all asunder,
if it wasn't the wind, was it the thunder?
some things I don't know until after I try,
I am just lucky that I did not die.
Accidents happen, yes, only too easy,
maybe the wind was just a little too breezy.
I didn't really want to, they gave me a push.
I even came close to hitting a bush.
The trees and the flowers, oh what a scene,
now that i'm dizzy, I know that was mean.
