In the Arms of Jesus

When a Christian enters into eternity,
Our hearts are comforted by certainty.
They are in the arms of Jesus at last.
All their pain and suffering is past.

But for the loved ones who are left behind,
They greatly miss that person and find
There is an empty void in their hearts.
Grieving is a process where healing starts.

Jesus knows our every burden and care.
All our heartaches, He does share.
We can lay everything at His feet.
His perfect plan He will complete.

There will be difficult days ahead.
But in Jesus, we have hope instead.
Someday we will see them again,
And a new life together will begin.

God gives strength for each new day.
He uses a friend to encourage you today.
That's what the family of God is called to do;
To care and lift up each other in prayer, too.
