stand in rows
Waiting for Inspiration
to take over again
Words of fine ladies
Written by man
From rags to riches
Life to death
Many give up
Just do your best
Shadows at night
scare us to death
A beautiful garden
with roses to pick
Loss of our children
Prayers for the ill
Hearts pouring out
words they never could tell
Castles above the clouds
Where Spinners make wings
Crying Angels
Birds that sing
Our poetry shares stories
some fake, mostly real
with people that otherwise
we never would know
A tale of Heaven
and seeing that light
Fires so hot, in a place called Hell
Will burn you clean,
but you can't tell
All of these things
and many more
Are written with love
to last forever more
