 Expensive Time

A dollar fifty a second ticks by
                        expensively faster
As the fool foolishly try to be,
                         finds only disaster
The game played in complete
                         vain to plaster
Not knowing difference never
                          weary of caster
Did he think he could finally
                           out last her
