i found this poem recently, forgot i ever wrote it. i think it was written around 2002, my softmore yr. it is actually quite cheesy, but something i wrote nonetheless.
I dont have much to give
I wont even lie
I have nowhere to live
It'll probably make you cry
I'm not the sexiest
as a matter of fact
I'm probably the plainest
and i'm sure of that!
My legs arnt the smoothest
ugly scars and cut all the time
but at least i'm not toothless
and i dont ever lie
My eyes are just green
not pretty blue
which i know you've seen
when i stare at you
My hair is not silky
nor is it straight
its more like puffy
and everything else that i hate!
I dont wear dresses
nor pretty hair bows
for im always in messes
so wear ragged clothes
I dont love the fancy life
nor have cocker spaniels
i look like a trailor trash wife
and love my Jack Daniels
I dont have money
which im sure you've noticed
but i'll call you honey
and hold you the closest
I cant give you much
as i've stated above
but i can give you one thing
and thats lots of love.
