Struggling Minds
We want peace of mind,
Always feeling content;
As others being aligned,
Any conflicts to prevent.
But if wars do not cease,
Then we can not achieve;
Assuring of having peace,
That we can ever perceive.
Even our minds struggle,
Between evil and good;
While our thoughts juggle,
Clarity to be understood.
But never black and white,
Mostly of shades of gray;
And seems to cover the light,
Through each and every day.
So the conflict rages on,
Never looking to the Lord;
Not feasting our eyes upon,
Answers in His Holy Word.
