Hearken unto me and do not be dismayed
Take to heart what the word of God displays
As the days draw nigh look to the eastern sky
For it is there:
THE KING OF KINGS , AND LORD OF LORDS
will arrive
It's the rapture that christians await
Promised in the word make no mistake
It is for God the Father to know the day
Wherefore comfort one another with these words
He doth say
In the twinkling of an eye He shall return
For an unblemished church as seen in His word
The Lord will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel
and with the trump of God... throughout
First, the dead in Christ shall rise
Those that remain will be caught up in the skies
It will be at this time both books will be opened
Revealing to each where his covenant was broken
Also revealing if your name is in the book of life to be spoken
Let those that have ears now hear
The coming of the Lord is drawing near
It is written no man knoweth the hour or day
However the signs of the times are now on display
Humble yourself to His teachings and have no doubt
Be watching and waiting to hear His shout...
Come up hither!
Although pain and sorrow leave many to wander
Soon we will rejoice when the roll is called up yonder
