Walk beside me as I walk the street
Enfolding me, when the pain is deep
entrenched within my soul
Never letting go
When life is almost too much to bear
Down my face, pour the tears
Heart shatters
like shards of ice
terror overwhelms me in the night
My mind flints from one thing to another
Like a bee flys flower to flower
Confusion, too many things to ponder
Seeking the answers, solance
Anything to stop the power
of the waves drowning me from within
If I could only see
They are there for me
Enfolding me, in golden wings
Walking next to me
Never taunting, always holding me up
I finally calm enough to sleep
Feel the softness surround me
Feel only love they can bring
To still my raging heart
Make all the monsters of the night
escape to another place
