I am sorry it has been so long since our last visit in prayer.
I was too ashamed to come.
I heard you calling and knew you were there,
Despite everything I have done.
I would have thanked you for family and friends.
I would have named them one by one.
I would have thanked you for things of nature.
Despite everything I have done.
I even would have thanked you for things unknown.
For I do not always see the blessings that come.
So I decided tonight to bring my burdens to you.
Despite everything I have done.
I should also admit I am not always kind.
At times my words and works have been without love.
I pray you heal my spirit inside.
Despite everything I have done.
I have not read your word and obeyed as I should.
I still know that Jesus is your son.
I still cling to His promise of grace and eternal life.
Despite everything I have done.
So now I must forgive myself in believing You have forgiven me.
I know my salvation was bought and not won.
I now thank you Father for choosing me.
Despite everything I have done.
In Jesus' precious name I pray ~Amen
