Meaningful Thoughts
A Conscience
A sad day to see your love go,
and to never know their return.
The days will pass by,
while you await the death of your love,
but it won't die, unless closure is in your eye, in your reach.
All you can do is somewhat teach
The feeling forthgiven you cannot defeat.
The days grow shorter, as does your time.
Nothing can help, but feelings divine.
Your breathe grows shorter, as does your wit.
Keep your love going before it all slips.
And if your love shall never return
To see your eyes a fierce waiting glow,
Then you shall know you were never a concern,
And never again will you move to follow.
What just happened will happen again.
Though the years pass by nothing will end,
Though happiness and sorrow seem so far apart.
What pain may come, all revolves in the same heart.
Please return, don't leave me hanging.
My love for you is not just complaining.
I felt restrained, and did not know.
I cannot see how it was just a show,
But now I must leave, and try to forget
All the things left to regret?
The way your attitude never changed,
The way you left me rearranged.
How your smile could never fail,
How your sarcasm would always prevail.
Your beautiful eyes, and they're never ending stretch of blue.
Your innocent presence, how it would always leave me askew.
The fact that all I had to do was look in your eyes,
and every time I knew who I was through all the lies.
How I was bashful, but you were shy.
How we could just sit around in lye.
The feeling of being content with everything around you,
Knowing full well that something surrounds you.
Your wit, your sass, your unbelievable taste.
All will be remembered, and never replaced.
If I could say one last thing to you, just one last thing.
It would be that you are the few, and
I love you.
What just happened will happen again.
Though the years pass by nothing will end,
Though happiness and sorrow seem so far apart.
What pain may come, all revolves in the same heart.
Please can't you see,
It's just plain old me.
"What could you want"
Is all I can say to make things blunt,
You say you need it,
But it's not what you see fit.
Why am I always chosen,
For things I've left unspoken:
Your habits are strong,
And cannot be forgotten for so long,
You think you're a rebel,
But I'm always the one in trouble,
All we do is sit and lay,
When is this all gonna pay?
You think you're slick, with all your moves.
You try to play sick, to avoid my grove
Amongst many things, I have nothing to prove.
If your love is true,
Then where the hell were you when I was blue?
I gave you a chance, and the chance is up.
Life is unfair and is always tough.
I'm sorry to say, I saw nothing attractive
especially the puffing.
If you were true, you'd be the few,
But now all you are is a spot on his cufflink.
What just happened will happen again.
Though the years pass by nothing will end,
Though happiness and sorrow seem so far apart.
What pain may come, all revolves in the same heart.
What may come from true love,
Is too much sorrow for you to shrug.
If nothing works, toward forgetting the feeling.
Just jog your memory towards the ceiling.
Your love may forget, but you're not that low.
Just try and hope their children are slow.
If all else fails, then it's time to teach.
While everyone else tries to preach.
You may succumb after all,
Just don't set yourself up to fall.
If nothing here/said is done,
Then let the jokes all be fun.
But if you read, all I've said,
Then let this topic just be dead.
and to never know their return.
The days will pass by,
while you await the death of your love,
