Can you chose to love even though you've been wronged?
Can you give a friend hope, for them can you be strong?
Can you lend a helping hand to those who are in need?
Can you listen to another who grates against your creed?
Can you stand up for your principles no matter what the cost?
Can you give to help others without ever feeling the loss?
Can you reach up for a branch that will steady your boat?
Can you stop in the still waters for a chance to just float?
Can you see around the rivers next bend?
Can you find a believer there, a very true friend?
Can you stay the course no matter what the river of life affords?
Can you always pray and sing sweet praises to the Lord?
Can you hold on to your anchor when you near the journey's end?
Can there be a place in Heaven, just for you, my friend?
