Murphy's Law
Life has its ups and downs,
Causing smiles and frowns;
It is allowed by the Lord,
As for us not to get bored.
If everything went to plan,
Too perfect for modern man;
There be no need for hope,
In knowing the end of scope.
Never any surprises in store,
To what is behind every door;
There would not be any mystery,
Nor secrets left in history.
That is why for Murphy's Law,
Reminding us of possible flaw;
Showing us from our intent,
When allowed to circumvent.
It is also how God will test,
See if we are doing our best;
No one in Heaven to impede,
Only if expectations exceed.
