Email Poem | Today's Poetry
Sent with an order from the King of Kings
Sent to thwart the work of the enemy
Christ prevails through the light in me
Sent to represent, reflect, and impart
The Kingdom of God into open hearts

Divine orders given from above
Showering down on hearts His amazing love
To be well pleasing unto Him
Not counting the praise of men

Reflecting, radiating, spreading His glory
His life, His love, His thoughts, His story
This is my life
As an ambassador
An ambassador of Christ

Persuading men for the love of Christ compels me
To flee the wrath of judgment already decreed
All the world dead in sin
If they have not ~ Christ within

Living not for self
But thinking always of and for someone else
Dead to self, alive to Christ
This is the ambassador's life

Representing the King I love
No better reason to live, that I can think of

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
